The transfer of the student is allowed if the number of differences in subjects due to the difference between the contents of the programme studied and the hosting programme at the moment of transfer does not exceed 20 credits. Otherwise, the student is offered to transfer to a lower semester or to study in another related specialty, in case of which the stated requirement of subject inconsistencies is met.
In case of transfer of students admitted to the institution with the right to deferment from military service, the granted deferment right is not subject to be changed.
Student deferment in the first and final study years of BA programme is not allowed. The deferment of learners at MA programme is allowed after the 1st semester.
It is not allowed to transfer the students admitted in the targeted places to study in another institution or in another specialty.
In the case of student transfers from foreign universities, the number of tests and exams to be passed does not include subject of Armenian studies. Except from the cases when the learner has studied subjects related to Armenian studies as specialty subjects as well as has chosen specialties of Armenian studies in the institution to be transferred to.
The list of credit-based subject differences (discrepancies) is determined by the receiving institution. The student must study and submit the resulting differences according to the individual schedule set by the receiving university, but no later than before the beginning of the examination period of the given semester.
It is not allowed to transfer a student from non-state universities that do not have educational programmes accredited according to professions to state or non-state universities that have educational programmes accredited according to professions.
