Study Visit to the University of the Arts, London

Mkrtich Ayvazyan, Acting Rector of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia as part of the Armenian high-ranking delegation, participated in the study visit to the University of the Arts, London, organised by the Armenian branch of the British Council, where he presented the strategic directions, structure, activities, proposed educational programs and development directions of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia.

The study visit of the Armenian delegation took place on November 7 and 8, 2023, the primary goal of which was to promote the exchange of experience and knowledge, focusing on the experience of how the University of the Arts London merged its six art colleges. The delegation held comprehensive discussions with University of the Arts London partners, addressing issues such as the specifics of university governance and administrative processes, academic program development, staff and faculty development, research, international collaboration and quality assurance.

Among the members of the delegation were the representatives of the Higher Education and Science Committee, Academic City Fund, and the top management of state universities on arts. Within the framework of the visit, a memorandum of understanding defining the directions of cooperation was signed between the Higher Education and Science Committee and the University of the Arts, London.
