Defences of BA Diploma Works and Master’s Theses were held at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia
On May 22-30, the defences of Bachelor’s diploma works and Master’s theses for the 2022-2023 academic year were held at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. The entire course of the defences was video recorded. The defences of all specialties of the Gyumri branch (except for “Arts”, which was also held at the SAFAA main branch) were held on May 31 at the Gyumri branch.
It should be noted that the chairmen of the examining commissions were appointed according to professions; Doctor of Architecture, Academician of the RA Academy of Engineering, Professor Ashot Grigoryan (“Painting”, “Sculpture”, “Graphics”), Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Architects of Armenia, Honored Architect of the Republic of Armenia Mkrtich Minasyan (“Design”, “Interior design”, “Computer graphics”, “Decorative applied art”, “Fashion design”) and Artur Avagyan, senior researcher of the fine arts department of the National Academy of Arts of RA, candidate of arts science ( “Art studies”).
