SAFAA hosted a delegation of Hungarian teachers from EszterhazyKaroly Catholic University, Eger
It’s already 5 years SAFAA has been cooperating with EszterhazyKaroly Catholic University and has actualized both teacher and student mobilities to and from the mentioned institution. And at the moment we have students in Eger, doing one semester of studies on scholarship and hosted two students from the above-mentioned institution for the same purpose and within the same programme.
Due to the same programme SAFAA recently hosted three teachers from EszterhazyKaroly Catholic University who delivered a series of lectures for SAFAA students from 25-28thof April.
Lili Boros delivered a lecture on the theme “The Art of Lajos Vajda – from Icon Painting to Surrealism” and JúliaEgervári and PéterLipkovicsrespectively conducted lectures on “Nature Art” and “The Message of the Material – The Idea Behind the Selection of Materials”
Before passing to the lecturing the professors were taken on a small excursion in the SAFAA main building, through the laboratories and studios and to the backyard.
They liked the atmosphere of art that was reigning everywhere and especially in the backyard where the students of the sculpture department were working on their diplomas.
Being on their first visit to Armenia they already were impressed by the museums of Yerevan and were planning to go sightseeing and devote their one and only free day to visiting the nearby churches.
