Aram Isabekyan was elected Rector of the SAFAA
On December 16, a meeting of the SAFAA Board of Trustees was held at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia. The SAFAA Rector’s election was on the agenda.
The session was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Khzmalyan. The acting rector of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, Professor Aram Isabekyan who forwarded his candidacy for the vacant position of the Rector of the SAFAA presented his pre-election programme of SAFAA development to the Board of Trustees. After short questions and answers, the attendees moved on to the formation of the Committee on Counting, after which the secret ballot for the election of the Rector began. As a result, Aram Isabekyan was unanimously elected the Rector of the “State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia” foundation. The Board of Trustees thanked Aram Isabekyan for the work done and results recorded and wished him success.
