2-year Master
The Bachelor and Master programme in Applied Arts prepares highly qualified specialists for applied arts compositional creative work as well as performing arts on full time basis. The programme puts a special emphasis on development of such knowledge, skills and competences that enable free expression of ideas, critical and analytical thinking to come up with a variety of compositional solutions in practice. Alongside with it the students are introduced to the techniques and technologies in applied arts, history of applied arts, origins and traditions as well as modern world achievements.
In the 4th year of the Bachelor level, diploma defence is carried out. Master’s degree final assessment is carried out in the form of complex creative compositional work presentation and Master’s thesis defence. The final work should express not only students’ academic knowledge and creative abilities but also research skills. For the preparation of Master’s thesis or compositional work, a supervisor and an opponent are assigned to the graduate. The topic and scope of the final work are approved by the chair of Applied Arts.
