Information Days for first-year students at SAFAA
On September 6 and 8, the first-year students of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia were familiarized with the services provided by the Academy. In order to successfully integrate the newcomers into student life and the new educational environment at the SAFAA, Information Days were held, during which the first-year students of 9 disciplines of the SAFAA had meetings with the representatives of the Academic Programme Development and Student Registrar, Student Support and Alumni Cooperation Center and Student Council.
The students were provided with a detailed presentation of the services of the SAFAA, the benefits of using the student allowance, the advantages of demonstrating high academic progress, absences, as well as additional (facultative) courses, upcoming trainings, student activities and volunteering.
Students were also familiarized with the Student Handbook 2023-2024.
The Student Support and Alumni Cooperation Center of the SAFAA emphasizes the holding of Information Days and such meetings and will continuously introduce services, organized events and activities aimed at integration into academic life, which contribute to ensuring a healthy, competitive, active and inclusive student environment.
At the end of the meeting, the first-year students of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia received painting supplies from the “Gamma” organization.
