Meetings at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design + Technology and SAFAA
Within the frames of Erasmus+ ICM programme meetings on sharing experiences were held at Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design + Technology and at SAFAA. Mkrtich Ayvazyan, the Acting Rector of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia and Ruzanna Minasyan, the head of the Department of Academic Programme Development of SAFAA were on a week-long visit to the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design + Technology, where a number of meetings with the institute’s top management and the representatives of various departments and the academic staff took place. Current challenges of effective management, organization and implementation of educational programmes were discussed. Special emphasis was put on the need to foster cooperation between the two institutions, which is important for the implementation of improvements in the SAFAA. The parties agreed on deepening the partnership of ten-year history within the framework of other joint projects as well.
According to the programme implementation plan SAFAA also hosted professors David Quin and Steve Woods from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design + Technology on June 5-9 of the current year. They made a presentation on the changes and amendments of the academic programmes offered at their institution that raise the effectiveness of academic programmes and promote competitiveness.
The parties agreed that the conclusion of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme implies new joint project opportunities.
