The results of the contest “The World Through the Eyes of an Artist” have been summed up
From February 21 to March 14, 2023 at the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design held an exhibition-competition “The World Through the Eyes of an Artist” as part of the international festival “Around the World. Art without borders”. It was attended by students and lecturers of the Academy, as well as artists and designers from 24 countries, including Armenia. The competition was held in online and offline formats, 749 works were submitted, from which the jury members chose 4 winners in each of the nominations by open voting.
State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia Official web-site administrator Mesrop Mesropyan presented several photographs to the jury, one of which is the work “God is light, and there is no darkness in him” – won the first prize in the “Professional artist. Composition” nomination. And a graduate of the Graphics academic programme, now a post-graduate student Misak Artenyan, who presented the painting “Spring”, was declared a laureate in the nomination “Students. Landscape”.
