Impressions from Eszterhazy Karoly Catholic University
From 7-14 of November, 2022 SAFAA lecturer Narine Aramyan was in Eszterhazy Karoly Catholic University withing the frames of Eramsus+ mobility programme as a guest teacher.
“In genera I have very positive impressions and feedback both from the city of Eger, the university and the reception I had there”.
N. Aramyan described her stay in one sentence, “I am very pleased because it was the first time that I felt my knowledge is appreciated”.
“This was an interesting experience for me as a result of which I was given the opportunity, at least for a short period of time, to observe the receiving institution, its teaching methods, structure, to get familiarized with the teaching and administrative staff and students, to exchange ideas and thoughts.
Eger is a cozy and picturesque city with gothic architecture typical to European cities and warm and hospitable people.
During my visit I conducted lectures accompanied with presentations on Magic Realism, Surrealism, Metaphysic art tendencies in nonconformist Armenian and Russian art of late 20th century, connections with European art.
I was also given the opportunity to teach for one day with my Hungarian colleague that was also an interesting experience and I must mention that I am also impressed with the enthusiasm and energy of the students. I also met two of our students there who are also on eramsus+ mobility programme and for the duration of one semester.
The information about the event was disseminated also through the website of the institution and below you can find the link to it.
