With the aim to promote the improvement and development of management system, academic programmes as well as quality assurance processes, SAFAA has actively participated in the development and implementation of projects under “TEMPUS” and currently “Erasmus+” grant programs. Moreover, SAFAA is the coordinator of two grant projects, GOVERN (TEMPUS) and INCLUSION (ERASMUS+).
Thus, since 2009 till 2017 State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia has been involved in 10 Tempus grant projects, particularly “GOVERN” (Fostering Autonomy and Accountability: Development of State-Of-The-Art HE Management System for Efficient Changes in line with Bologna Principles), “VERITAS” (Structural Development of the Third Cycle Based on Salzburg Principles), “PICASA” (Promoting Internationalisation of HEIs in Eastern Neighbourhood Countries through Cultural and Structural Adaptations), “ALIGN” (Achieving and Checking the Alignment between Academic Programmes and Qualification Frameworks) “ESPAQ” (Enhancing Students Participation in Quality Assurance of HE) and “HEN-GEAR” (Higher Education Network for Human Capital Assessment and Graduate Employability in Armenia).
Through the projects’ lifetime, joint educational and scientific-research projects, international trainings and conferences have been carried out, as well as SAFAA has been enriched with modern technique.
Currently 2 ERASMUS+ projects run in the Academy.
